V2.7 Firmware performance

  • Seeing some pretty erratic throughput, here is an iperf run that is fairly typical:

    MBP-Home:~ johnfruehe$ iperf3 -c 192.168.1.30iperf3 -c 192.168.1.30
Connecting to host 192.168.1.30, port 5201

    [ ID] Interval Transfer Bandwidth

    [ 4] 9.00-10.00 sec 51.1 MBytes 429 Mbits/sec

    [ ID] Interval Transfer Bandwidth

    [ 4] 0.00-10.00 sec 268 MBytes 225 Mbits/sec receiver

    iperf Done.

The 400Mb/s+ numbers are great, those are some of the highest that I have ever seen, but the 0Mb/s dropouts are concerning. I know the firmware is pretty new and it may take some time for everything to settle in.
