A little update popped up this evening.
v2.7.1
Resolved issue when creating an additional Wi-Fi network if special characters are usedJust a small bug fix it seems. Updated and running for a couple of hours now so far so good.

Hmmm, the additional SSID functionality was broken for me (kept dropping), I wonder if this helps?
