Firewall Issue


  • Hi,

    Tearing my hair out with this, I've set a range of ports to be forwarded as per the screenshot below. But they're not open (judging by the fact my SIP phone isn't working), and online port scanners detect them closed. What am I doing wrong?

  • Is this your edge device if not you need to log into that port forward them to the AMPLIFI or in you edge device make the AMPLIFI a DMZ device.

    As and example I had a PPPOA modem/router which has an internal address of 192.168.1.1, the Internet side of the AMPLIFI is 192.168.1.2

    in the PPPOA modem I have tagged 192.168.1.2 as a DMZ device.

    If you are running PPPOE then this shouldn't be the issue.
