Teleport cuts the Wifi signal when it is in 5 GHz
-
Hi,
Problem with the teleport,
when I connect it to a 5 GHz network, it associates correctly but the teleport cuts the wifi. there is no carrier emitted. I checked with the "wifi man" application. The teleport wifi signal is Off.
The blue ring is fixed so it is well connect to my own network. I try to disconnect it from the electrical current and reconnect it is the same.The only way to find the wifi of my teleport, was to distance far enough from the 5 GHz network to lose the association and it turns on its wifi signal.

@sylvain-levacher Hi Sylvain! We'll take a look at your support file.

@sylvain-levacher
Hi, in order to diagnose the issue, we need Support Info files from Teleport when it's connected to the Router (blue ring fixed). As you don't have access to the Teleport WiFi at that time, you may use Ethernet port of the Teleport in order to be connected to your home network. Please connect Teleport to the 5Ghz network which causes issues, then wait until blue ring is fixed and connect a computer to the Ethernet port of your Teleport. Then go to http://amplifi.lan from that computer, select Router, enter your password and press Support button on the top right corner. Then generate and download support info (button below). This file will include both files from Router and Teleport.Please let us know if you don't have any Ethernet clients available (hopefully you have!). In this case, we'll invite you to the Beta mobile App to be able to download support info files directly from Teleport using Bluetooth.

@sylvain-levacher Alternatively, if you have remote access to the router, you can create support info using mobile app when Teleport is connected to home network (blue ring fixed).

Hello,
here are the support files.
The one downloaded from the router :

@sylvain-levacher It's because Livebox-FD4A uses DFS (Weather radar) WiFi channel number 112 which is not supported by Teleport. To resolve the situation, please change the channel of Livebox-FD4A to 36.
-
@ubnt-andrey OK,
the 112 Wifi channel is authorized in France.
Unfortunately, I can not change the channel of the Livebox, it is not mine, but that of a neighbor who allows me to use his connection during my holidays.I solved the problem by connecting in 2.4 GHz with the teleport.
Can you tell me that they are the 5 GHz channels supported by the Teleport.

On 5GHz band Teleport supports channels 36-48 and 149-165
