Amplifi Instant Mesh System?

9to5Mac reported that today Amplifi introduced a new home router name Amplifi Instant Mesh System. The 3 main points seem to be 2-minute setup, design and the entry price. I wonder what effect this will have on future development and support of the Amplifi HD system? I also wonder if it will integrate with the Amplifi HD system?

The AmpliFi HD system is still fully supported as the Instant is not designed as a replacement devices.
The AmpliFi Instant can be added to any existing HD system as a wireless mesh point, or wired with ethernet backhaul. One thing to note, is the kits still cant be merged together so if you are adding an AmpliFi instant to your existing ecosystem make sure to purchase the standalone router.
