Bridge Mode
-
Can some one please explain how bridge mode works and if I set up my AmpliFi in bridge mode which feature will nor work.

@mehmet-taner-i̇mamoğlu Bridge mode will disable NAT on AmpliFi allowing another router on the network to handle all DHCP functions which helps avoid any IP conflicts. When a router has bridge mode enabled, it allows another router on the network to do most of the thinking, which means features that are specific to AmpliFi will be turned off
- Hardware NAT
- UPnP
- VLAN ID
- Guest Network
- DHCP Server
- Port Forwarding
- Family Profiles

@ui-brett Does it really disable the Guest Network? The article on Bridge Mode indicates the Guest Network is still available...?

@david-nanian No, this is an older thread. This support article breaks down the features that are lost while in bridge mode: https://help.amplifi.com/hc/en-us/articles/220979347-Enabling-Bridge-Mode
