Macbook Pro disconnects too frequently
-
I've a Macbook pro.
Every 15-20 minutes, the pc lose the connection. The wireless signal is lost and I've to reconnect manually to my network.
Sometimes it remains connected but without internet connection.This appear too frequently, so it's impossible to work.

@francesco-pace Can you generate support files right after a disconnect and send to support, referencing this community post? I will investigate this for you because it should not be disconnecting

@francesco-pace Can you try to disable band steering on AmpliFi? Let me know if your device is still disconnecting as frequently

@ubnt-brett any news for me?

@francesco-pace I am seeing that your device is connected to the 2.4 GHz radio, and has a signal level of -76 dBm which is not the greatest strength and could be why its disconnecting.
Can you create an additional SSID that is 5GHz only and connect to that network closer to the router and see if you are still experiencing disconnects? If you are a fair distance away from the router currently, this could be why its connecting to the 2.4GHz signal automatically which if thats the case you will need to:- Move closer to the router
- Add mesh points to the network for greater coverage
- Relocate the router to a more central location

I have MacBook Pro 2017 with touchbar, enabled band steering, A-MSDU..everything working great on 5ghz, no dropouts.
Only the upload speed through WiFi is capped to 50 instead of 100 that I am paying for to my ISP.
