Update made successfully. The ISP test is now working reliably since the last beta. Thanks!

So far so good I'm a little bit disappointed that A-MSDU for back bone is missing as well as the roaming setting, but id really like to see A-MPDU implemented in a future update.
-
Hi @edward-dolezal - isn’t A-MSDU just always on by default for wireless backhaul?
And just curious, since MPDU aggregation is less efficient than MSDU unless you have a very high error rate environment, what scenario are you needing A-MPDU for?
-
Hi @edward-dolezal – A-MSDU is always enabled for AmpliFi wireless backhaul and A-MPDU is enabled for all wireless devices. Without A-MPDU wireless performance would be lower.
Beta firmware versions allow to disable A-MSDU for wireless backhaul, I think this is where the confusion comes from.
-
@ubnt-kevin Do I need to update to 2.95 first as 3.0 still isn’t showing up?
-
To continue on this discussion: Is A-MSDU for wireless clients still in? Thanks!
-
It’s about 21 hours from the update and my router still can’t find it.
-
@derek-saville I'm asking to see if I can test which is better for my environment also I did see people have issues with Msdu henceforth an alternative option might help them, at the moment I'm just troubleshooting to see which channels a e the best to set to for my particular case
-
@ubnt-karlis makes sense now thanks for the clarification.
Also for device identification add to bridge mode I believe that would be extremely helpful since I have a lot of wireless and wired devices connect to my network it gets confusing especially not I'm updating an old phone or fixing a PC or device for family.
-
@derek-saville also I'm just wondering if my headsets and wifi are at odds again got a new one for the Xbox so I'm trying to see if there is some sort of interference aslo is the other reason I'm asking.
-
@roman-bartík use the app to do an update check that's what I did and it works.
-
@anatol-czotzki use the app to check for updates and it will appear, it seems to be some sort of odd delay.
-
@edward-dolezal yep I checked and it’s still firmware up to date - I am currently on 2.9.5
-
Just to be safe we use gradual update with this firmware release. If all is well AmpliFi devices will receive this firmware update within a week. I updated the first post. Sorry about that!
-
@ubnt-karlis thank you for info, at least I can be sure it’s not my fault about not receiving the update.
Wanted to ask..will there be in the future ability to see current bandwith of wired clients through ethernet? Currently I can see only N/A instead of actual speed. Thanks.
-
@ubnt-kevin what is friend network? Would be nice to have descriptions in release notes
-
@anatol-czotzki The following is from the release notes.
We use gradual update rollout. It may take up to a week for your device to receive this update.
-
@roman-bartík odd
-
@edward-dolezal you can see bandwith of wired clients?
