Is NAT automatic on the WAN port
-
I am working with some different configurations of my home network and was wondering if NAT is automatic on the WAN port of the router. I don't see anywhere to turn off NAT and I guess the "Hardware NAT" is a different setting and does not apply to the outbound port.
Am I correct on this?
Thank you.

@jeff-moore - if the AmpliFi unit is set up as a router, for example in DHCP mode, then NAT will be enabled
If you set up the AmpliFi unit in Bridge mode behind another router then NAT will be disabled

@derek-saville OK, that is kind of what I thought. In order to use all of the features of the Amplifi router then I need to set my ISP router (ATT UVerse Arris router) to bridge mode/IP Passthrough which should put the public IP on the Amplifi WAN port and then setup my private network in the Amplifi. Correct?

@jeff-moore yes, that’s true

@jeff-moore ATT has been one of the IPS's that in the past I have not had much success with AmpliFI not in bridge mode, but it seems like more and more customers are having success (I wonder if ATT has made modifications on their end to support more?) But here is past post to reference a configuration that worked with AmpliFi in NAT mode:
