MAC address for Amplifi HD-R in bridge mode cycles/changes on reboot
-
My network uses a BSD-based router/firewall with most devices being issued static IPs (and monitored for status). The LAN segment used for our Home has an Amplifi in bridge mode.
The Amplifi is running 3.0.1.
On reboots/power cycles the MAC address rotates between:
a) 82:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
b) 80:xx:xx:xx:xx:xxWeird. Feels like a bug.
This causes the Amplifi to be incorrectly reported as offline by my network monitoring system (no biggie), but is still a nuisance and should not occur.

Hi @petros-kolyvas - this bug has been going on for over a year now and for some reason AmpliFi has been unable to replicate and address it
Can you generate Support Info files for your HD router for both MAC addresses and send them to [email address removed] and [email address removed] referencing your thread:
https://community.amplifi.com/topic/2002/mac-address-for-amplifi-hd-r-in-bridge-mode-cycles-changes-on-reboot ?That would be very very helpful as @UI-Karlis and @UI-Brett have requested files for comparison

Will do!

Very much appreciated - thank you @petros-kolyvas
