Kit Mesh Point Power Supply Dead
-
I have an HD kit (2 HD mesh points hard coded to router) and 1 HD mesh point failed to respond, and has no lights when plugged in. Swapped antenna with working power supply base and the antenna is okay. So, I guess the other power supply base failed.
How can I get a new power supply base (since the antenna is linked to the router), or can the power supply be sent in for repair? I realize it's out of warranty but since the whole unit is a kit, I'd like to minimize cost without having to buy a whole new mesh point.
Thanks.

@tony-st-clair-0 The test you performed is perfect for determining if it is the power supply or the mesh point. The mesh point is hardcoded to the router, the power supplies are just accessories that are not so I can ship you a replacement power supply. Please DM me your shipping information.

So this scenario gets a free, out of warranty replacement power supply but I have to buy a USB-C adapter for my dead micro-USB along with a janky adapter?
Oh, I see.

Received replacement power supply and everything is back up and running! Thank you! Excellent customer service.

@eric-t, This scenario is involving the Mesh Point power supply, which is a magnet base the mesh point connects to, not the USB-C or Micro USB cable.

@UI-Brett . Hi. I have the same issue.
I just need to replace the power supply unit. AFi PS-13W
This is the second one that has failed.
Can you please tell me how to get a replacement power supply?
I am located in Australia.
Thanks.

@UI-Brett Hi,
I've got the same issue with one of my mesh points today. Antenna works great with the other power supply. Could you help to get a replacement power supply for EU power point type? I live in Moscow, Russia.
Thank you in advance.

The same issue. What should I do? Kyiv, Ukraine
-
@Евгений-Нагорный You will need to submit an RMA claim for an accessory to get a replacement one shipped to you in the Ukraine rma.ui.com

@UI-Brett I just opened two brand new mesh points both lit up initially but after un-nplugging to place them in desired location they will no longer light up. I fear both of these power supplies are DOA now what?
-
@Yakov-Wohlgelernter Try to reseat the magnet joint first, but if they will not power back on we will want to swap them for you. If you have another mesh point in your home somewhere, test the new antenna portions on that power supply to confirm it is the power supply and not the entire antenna. Then fill out the warranty claim form at rma.ui.com

@UI-Brett I’ve just found my meshpoint will no longer power up. Can you assist me with a replace power plug as well?

HI, I have this exact same problem, the other day i noticed the lights not blinking on my mesh point, changed power points and still no dice. looks like its a common occurence for the plug unit. How to I proceed in getting a replacement?
