@ui-brett will this version be notified even if i did a rollback of the beta to last stable?
-
@benoit-chesneau I presume yes, as this release is a stable release. Only my 50c
-
@benoit-chesneau you will get it, since it's newer than the beta release.
I still haven't gotten it yet.

I am running v3.0.1 Rev 0-g1459c90b1c and still experience the problem described in this thread of slow speeds (<400mbps, sometimes <100mbps) through Amplifi router with a 1GB Spectrum ISP connection. Is there any further recommendation other than what has been posted here?
-
@jason-barrett did you enable hardware Nat?
-
@jason-barrett I'm having the same issue with wifi speeds on a 1GB Centurylink fiber connection.
My hardwired PC connection averages 600mbps down and 750mbps up which is acceptable. Wifi is only 200mbps down and 170mbps up standing right next to the router.
-
@steve-secor have you tried changing which channels you are using just incase it's interfereance, with the currently used channel.
I know in my own personal case I've had to adjust channels to get everything working properly and in my own personal case it works well just a pia to get sorted, I'd suggest using wifi man to help choosing the channels for both bands.
-
@edward-dolezal I guess using Wifiman for that purpose (scanning Wifi/check channels) is recommenced for Android users. As, the iOS ones don’t have such a feature.
-
@virgil-nicolae do you have WiFi analyser on iOS? It should work the same.
-
@edward-dolezal The only WiFi scanner that you're able to use on a non-jailbroken iPhone is "AirPort Utility" and you have to enable the "Wi-Fi Scanner" option under Settings for it to work.
-
@ben-thomas is it able to tell you which channels are better to use?
-
@edward-dolezal yes, I do. But I don't see/have any features related to Wifi scanning (channels/neighbour networks and so on). That's why I said
-
@ben-thomas and where can I find those "Settings/Wifi Scanner" options, within the AirPort utility, on iOS?
-
@ben-thomas Got it, was the System Settings -> AirPort
-
@edward-dolezal Nope, seems that is giving you nearly nothing .. except a simple scan of networks around and which channels are those networks use. That is all.
Edit: plus RSSI values
-
@virgil-nicolae WiFiman is available on iOS.
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ubiquiti-wifiman/id1385561119
-
@edward-dolezal Not directly, it shows which channels are in use and provides the RSSI in dBm.
@UI-Brett Unfortunately the iOS WiFiman isn't anywhere as useful as the Android version, as Apple do not let any apps other than their own AirPort Utility scan for SSIDs, view signal strength values, etc.

The past 2 updates has not really hit on igmp snooping for IPTV. When will you guys put an option for that? I have have tested cheap routers (trendnet router, D-Link router, TP-link, and zyxel and westell ISP modem/routers) that have a simple option to check multicast/igmp snooping. I know I had to tweak your parent router, the UBNT Edge Router Series to get multicast going. It's a shame to see high end consumer products like this don't have a multicast option like the old cheap consumer routers do. See my previous comments about multicast below. Hopefully, this will be added onto the next release.

@noah-leech Asus did away with those multicast settings also, not sure why, bit in Thier newer units it doesn't exist anymore.
