Teleport VPN with Windows devices
-
@Verakota This was my thinking also. Granted those who are unable to upgrade to Win11 would need to obtain a supported device. Additionally, is it known whether or not the app is/will be available in the Amazon app store? Hoping that it will!
-
It would be great having a Teleport app (or plugin) for computers.
To those looking for solutions, a cheap one is an OpenVPN server on an always-on Raspberry Pi. Dynamic IP? rPi can manage that too, by DDNS client.

Any hope for Win Teleport client?
-
Signing up to ask for a WIN/Linux client
-
please make teleport working with windows and mac
-
Adding my vote here, please make a Windows client, as it would be really useful for notebooks too. Thank you!
-
Yes, adding my vote for this as well. It seems like Ubiquiti is spending less time and effort on the Amplifi line vs their enterprise offerings.

@Brandon-Taylor sold my Alien and did the whole property up with TP Link Omada. Only a couple hundred bucks more and I’ve got ridiculous coverage, VPN control, multi-WAN support, and so much more.
-
Hard to admit, TP-link and Tenda have a remarkable Q/P. My next thing will be Mikrotik thou
-
@cgmatthews I love that you still have an account here to tell people that lol
-
@Fam-Taylor hahahaha I keep forgetting to turn off notifications. I guess I could just keep recommending TP Link Omada until I’m banned or something.
-
That’s quite a good reason to keep buying US or EU devices
-
@Brandon-Taylor they are rolling teleport out in their dream machine
so i have good hopes more support is on its way
-
For anyone with an M1 macbook, you can get it to work by installing the iPad version of the app, really saved me
-
adding my vote for this as well
PLEASE it is very important and useful
I don't think it's that difficult, is it?I thought Amplifi was on top, but in fact I didn't understand that the "VPN" was only proprietary :((
Thanks in advance for the windows application !!!

There is ways around this with the introduction to Windows 11 ( as this app can be ran on android ) trying running the application through WSA PacMan. This routers have been a massive let down for the price but it is very much possible for us as a community to build off these imperfections.
It is possible for this to be ran using WSA PacMan then changing the primary adapter through control panel. It is possible to run this through a docker container also!

I'd also like to vote on having a VPN app for windows to run on our laptops etc. I stay away from home sometimes and would like to run the Teleport from my laptop to my home network like my phone does. Given the cost of the routers, seems like a no-brainer to have windows support for Teleport.
