Yes. Can confirm there's an exhaust vent on the back, and hot air is coming out. It's very quiet.

I don’t think it has a fan. From the technical specs I’ve seen, it seems to have passive cooling like the Amplifi HD family.

@lucas-nicodemus I don't know if there is one. Yes there is exhaust but it could just be the heat from the heatsinks. I think we will need to wait for someone to do a teardown. I love mine too much to do that.

On the Unifi Dream Machine, the first thing you hear is the fan ramp up when plugged in. I was thinking the Alien might be similar, plus it has a faster possible hotter CPU.

@mike-p The Alien does have a fan, you can hear it spin up during the boot cycle.
