I'm interested in a mesh kit and I'm only a couple weeks into research. I think I'm just going to get whatever shows up first - Netgear Orbi AX6000 or this. I'd prefer to have this I think. Hoping to see a mesh kit soon!
When was the last time the mesh kits went up? I imagine not often at all considering the difficulty in getting a standalone.

@Zachary-Brown haven’t seen a mesh kit in a long time. I’d buy 2 regular units and make a mesh just in case one goes out or you don’t like them. The mesh kit is locked to the parent unit.

@Derek-Saville Thanks for posting. I got the email digest with your post and went to the site. Got it on order, and I didn’t have to wait for the Alien 2!! I’ve only gotten the in stock status email once in the last 3 or 4 months and not in time to actually get one.

@Ryan-Hewitt I live in an apartment that is small enough that my current router which is centrally located reaches almost everywhere except one or two weak areas. So I believe only one Alien will do everything I need. But I thought it would be Christmas before I’d get to order one.

It’s back in stock. Been that way for a couple of hours now. I’m guessing they managed to make a big production run. I finally got the two I needed. Good luck!

@prokanda it’s been coming back in stock so much lately that I felt comfortable canceling my order. I can wait as the one I have does what I need currently. More for those in need!

@Ryan-Hewitt Just confirm the price. Before I got mine, from Amplifi, I checked Amazon and there was a listing for them at twice the price. I believe they took that down but just make certain before clicking that buy button.
