Alien Router Out of Stock?

@Daniel-Osers I'm in the same boat. Right now I been testing the Eero Pro and works great but they don't have the WiFi 6 available yet. I have been waiting for the alien to be in stock. I have until March 2nd to return this unit but if things aren't available by next week. I'll be keeping this set or get the Orbi.

@bleacht We are still awaiting fulfilment. I am sure you are aware of the production constraints for any companies manufacturing in Asia.

@UI-JT Hi JT - I know it's hard to give an estimate - and I understand you can't give us solid dates; but is there a general timeframe we are looking at? Since it was '6-7 days' 11 days ago; at this point are we looking at days or weeks?

Any news on this at all? I mean sure we added a notification that will give me an alert, but all that means to me is simply Ubiquiti doesn't know when they will be in stock and our guess is as good as theirs so just sign up and "We will let you know." Not really an ideal road map at this point. I get it, but at the same time getting close to a month with no stock is quite frustrating.

@clanzerio I would not expect any new stock for quite a while. Several countries are locking down their borders as we speak across Asia and Europe. Manufacturing plants have been closed and shipping, especially from Asia, is quite limited. Apple apparently has an event scheduled for the end of March. It will be very interesting to hear what they say. I wouldn’t expect any new products from them either this year. Looking at the stock market I think that’s a widely held consensus. We’re in for a rough ride.

Not all vendors are having supply issues. Maybe it depends on the size of the vendor. However Alien supply constraints started right at launch, before Corona.

@Senthil-Masilamani Agree. I understand there are many factors, but from Orbi Wifi6 to Velop to, frankly, Ubiquity systems there hasn't been an impact such as this to availability.
That's why it would really help to get some clarity here from Ubiquity. I think it's clear we all are hoping for in-stock, but at some point a general ETA would help loose folks to competitor mesh systems that are widely available (and based on the same chipsets)...

@UI-Brett Amplifi,
I know you would have posted if there was in stock - but it's been weeks now. Is there ANY update or can you set any timeframe expectations. I, like many, are are holding off on buying other systems in favor of Alien, but may have moves, construction or other dates looming. It would really help to get at least a sense of where Ubiquity's supply chain is at, if things are days or weeks, or at which point Alien is cancelled altogether?

@Daniel-Osers I can assure you that AmpliFi Alien is not being cancelled, and all of the supply restraints we have been faced with are because of Covid19, and manufacturing being shut down.
We are working on stock and giving notice to our customers when that happens. An exact ETA is something I do not have, which is a big reason why we created the ability for our customers to opt in for email notifications when the product becomes available.
I am hopeful that we will be receiving some products sooner than later, but long term it is very difficult to say at this time with everything that is happening.
Please check our store and community often for updates, and when I have more information I will update these threads.

Unfortunately, the Amplifi Alien with Mesh Point is still out of stock. I had to buy two Aliens. Thanks for all the updates.
