Low down/up speeds on wireless
-
I am using the mesh in bridge mode due to ATT requirement of using their PACE router. I am getting wired speeds of 950 down / 950 up. My wireless speeds do not exceed 200 mbps down / 60 up. Any ideas?

Did a factory reset, no improvement. Unsure as to why Wi-Fi speeds are so much slower.
-
@jonathan-greenwald Do you have the wireless broadcast from the ATT device disabled? You could be seeing some wireless interference from that, especially if it and AmpliFi are right next to each other.
-
@ui-brett yes all other wireless signals are disabled.
-
@jonathan-greenwald If you go in to the app under the family tab, select the device and then choose client details. What is the TX and RX rate? What is the signal level and what MIMO is shown here? Thanks.

@jonathan-greenwald These indicate you should be seeing speeds around 400-500 Mbps. What speed test service are you using to test this? Can you go in to the web UI by using the device IP and enable A-MSDU?
-
@ui-jt I’ll do it tonight when I get home. The download speed is around 200-300 mbps, the upload speed gets to 70-80 usually. Very jittery and not stable.
-
Slight improvement if anything.

Why would the tax bitrate drop off like that?
-
@jonathan-greenwald That TX rate drop off may be due to interference, try using different channels. Do you have MeshPoints with this system?
-
@ui-jt yes, 2. I’ve tried changing channels and moving access points. No improvement.
-
@jonathan-greenwald Can you send me a support file after running a few speed tests?

-
I sent in a support file - let me know what I need to do next.
Thanks!

@ui-jt Any updates in the support files I submitted? I am getting very frustrated and am close to just dumping the whole system

In the pictures above you can see a significant drop off. Something is very wrong here...
