@UI-Brett hello there Brett. Any news on availability of the 2 meshed alien kit? I realize covid19 is making things challenging for worldwide supply chains, but I’d love to get a hold of the kit once available again, so any ETA would be appreciated.

@dag777 No ETA as of yet, however the option to get inventory notifications is open on both the Alien stand alone router, and the Alien kit. Hopefully we will have more products and information soon.

Hi, I'm actually interested in getting the Alien through Best Buy, where I have an extended warranty plan that will allow me to return my old not-working-so-well router for a new one. I have another 8 months before the warranty runs out...do you think the Alien will ever reach stock levels by that time so that retail stores like Best Buy will be able to stock them?

@Darren-Cook Its hard to say, especially as we are unable to keep our inventory full. But in 8 months I hope we have these issues sorted and we can see retailers get stock.

@UI-JT it kind of pisses me off that you’re spending time here pushing routers instead of supporting your users who are begging for updates on what is the current working firmware. The botched fw rollout is being compounded by no clear communication from AmpliFi and here you are doing inventory management. I am not happy. Just to be clear I like the hardware but the communication is seriously lacking

@propheadcity We are continuing to develop and improve our hardware, we are communicating directly with developers when issue or bugs are reported. It would not be fair to customers looking at the Alien product line to not update them on inventory. If you would like to report a bug or an issue please make a post in the appropriate topic corresponding with the device and the community will address it.

Hi, I just received an email saying it was back in stock as I had requested to be updated when this occurred. I then accessed the store only to find out it’s still out of stock? Can you kindly advise.

@Walrus68 it’s was in stock for about 20-25 min I was able to buy one.... I guess it was a limited amount and they were gone very quickly.....I was lucky.

Any news on alien mesh point? When will it be available?

@faizan215 The mesh point will not be made as a stand alone option, in those scenarios you would need a second Alien router to add as a meshpoint.
If you are referencing the Alien kit with a mesh point included, its just as hard for us to know when they are coming in, so all I can offer is to enroll in email notifications on the store, and follow this thread for updates: https://community.amplifi.com/topic/2566/amplifi-alien-store-availability

@UI-Brett Ive been looking over some of your posts here and on the availability thread. Thanks for updating when you get more kit in.
Do you know when Alien will be released to more than just the USA? Specifically, Im looking for the router and meshpoint kit. Im based in the UK and have looked on the European store but theres no mention of either standalone or kit there, let alone when its available. When the main store that your updates are for, if I was to order for delivery to UK would that be honoured?
