Kr00k vulnerability?
-
Does someone can confirm if the Amplifi routers are affected by the kr00k vulnerability? If so, timeline for a patch? https://www.eset.com/int/kr00k/

It appears to affect Broadcom and Cypress chipsets. The Alien is Qualcomm based, I dont know about the others. Next you got to look at the phone makers too and etc. Either way WPA2 was hacked a long time ago.

@René-Guitar we are testing whether we are affected, however AmpliFi does not use Broadcom chipsets which is what Kr00k effects.

@UI-Brett thank you

@René-Guitar According to Amplifi's support, Amplifi uses Qualcomm chips.
Here is a statement about Eset who discovered this vulnerability.
"ESET also tested Wi-Fi chips from Qualcomm, Realtek, Ralink, and MediaTek, but were unable to exploit this vulnerability".Here is a link to the article that the above statement came from: https://www.xda-developers.com/kr00k-wifi-vulnerability-broadcom-cypress/
