Wifi 6 indicator only showing when im connected to the router

So i noticed on the amplifi app that the wifi 6 indicator only shows when im connecting to the main router and it goes away when im on a mesh point
Normal?

@Ahmad-Ilkaldi check and make sure you’re not using a separate 5ghz radio. That happened to my devices after an update and when I turned off it returned to normal.

I have all Extra 5ghz Off on every device

@Ahmad-Ilkaldi Does your phone show it is connected to WiFi 6?
Is your mesh point one from a kit, or a stand alone router added as a mesh point?
Is your mesh point connected wirelessly or via ethernet backhaul?I tested with my setup and with two stand alone Alien routers meshed together wirelessly, my Note 10+ indicated it was on WiFi-6 when connected to the mesh point in both the AmpliFi app, and the Samsung WiFi indicator. Any additional details you can share will help me attempt to replicate this issue.

Any additional details you can share will help me attempt to replicate this issue.

This happened to one of my iPhone 11 also. I turned Wi-Fi on iPhone off and then back on and that fixed it.

@UI-AmpliFi if im connected to the main router it says 6 on the up but when i switch to the mesh point wont say 6
