2 Alien's as Mesh

I purchased 2 of the normal Alien's instead of the mesh system. Didn't make sense to spend $60 less for the mesh point (they should be delivered next week). I know you can use one of the Alien's as the main router and the other router as a mesh point but my question is when you bridge the 2nd router to use as the mesh point, will the LAN ports on the back be able to be used? I was thinking they could be but I came across a video on Youtube where the guy said only WiFi could be used on the 2nd router. Reason I ask is because I have fiber to my home and where the main router is in my home is not where my office is. So I wanted to be able to use the backhaul to the 2nd router as the mesh point and be able to hardwire my PC's into that router. Thoughts?

@DreamNofR1 Yes, LAN ports can be used on your meshed router as normal.
