DHCP Address Pool Range forced to 192.168.166.xxx
-
Just installed this router in my home, directly connected (in DHCP mode) to my ISP's modem. I connected my ethernet switch to the Alien and all seems well. However when I tried to set the address pool in the DHCP server, I find that I can only do so in the 192.168.166.xxx range since the end of the range is fixed to 192.168.166. (grayed out in the app). In my iMac I can see that the router address is been set to 102.168.166.1.
The app suggests allowed ranges to use, but nogo.
What I'm I not understanding ??
Thanks

@Jose-Martinez-Jr If your using the android app, you have to leave the beta and download the released version, set your DHCP range to whatever you want. Then you can join the beta back.

@Mike-P Thanks for repliying on a Sunday !. I'm using the app downloaded from the Android App Store.

@Jose-Martinez-Jr Yes click on the app in the android store and scroll down. You should see a beta section and there should be a button that says Leave.

In my case it says "Join the Beta" so I'm not a tester. I did uninstall and reinstalled the app, same result.

By modifying the Start field in the Android app, you can change all the octets as long as it falls within the accepted DHCP ranges listed.
