Significant speed drop from Alien to switch

Is it normal to have over a 400Mbps speed drop between my Alien and my switch? I get 940Mbps via speedtest at the router, but only 500Mbps through my switch. I tried new cables, etc., but still the same.

@Mark-Normandin swap the switch out.

@UI-AmpliFi I should have mentioned that before I had this switch I was using another router as a bridge and still had the slower speeds.

@Mark-Normandin It sounds as though the switch is either defective or not capable of gig speeds.
