Can I Restore a backup from an Instant unit to an HD unit?

I know it's not a horrible mess to set this thing up. So, it's not really important, but since I'm now considering getting an HD unit to replace my current Instant unit, I'm just wondering whether this is possible.
If not, and if I do get the HD unit, I will just set it up from scratch.

I restored while moving from the HD to an Alien, so I'd say it should work
