Avaya Desktop Phone J100 - No audio when connected to Amplifi HD


  • Hi,
    When I connect the Avaya Desktop Phone J100 to the Amplifi HD router/network, I encounter some problems. It's possible to receive and make phone calls, but it's not possible to hear the other party (as if the other party has muted his/her mic). The other party however is possible to hear what I'm saying. It makes no difference who started the call.
    If the Avaya Desktop Phone J100 has been connected to the modem issued by the provider the Avaya Desktop Phone J100 works without problems.


  • AmpliFi support suggested to disable Hardware NAT. After Hardware NAT has been disabled, the Avaya Desktop Phone J100 seems to work without problems. What am I missing now Hardware NAT has been disabled?
