Alien port forwarding for my pc game
-
Hello , I was wondering if anyone could help me set up a port forward for call of duty black ops Cold War , I want to get an open nat type but I only get moderate and I’m not very good understanding all this things
-
@J-Beltran any help?
-
@J-Beltran Hey, I actually did this the other day and now I have Nat type open.
In the AmpliFi app, go to devices and scroll to your PC. Click on that and then create static lease. Take note of the IP that will be held on the static lease.
After that is done, go back to the main screen, select your AMPLIFI alien, scroll down to advanced, and select port forwarding. You’ll need to forward the ports below.
TCP: 3074, 27014-27050
UDP: 3074, 3478, 4379-4380, 27000-27031, 27036

@dav631 thank you man , I really appreciate it your reply , but how do I create static lease ? Sorry I’m new to computers and all this port forwarding stuff , I’m coming from a console so this is very overwhelming

@J-Beltran No problem. Check out this article from Amplifi, it should guide you with some visuals.
-
@J-Beltran Also, here’s their guide on port forwarding. Should help as well, good luck!

@dav631 for source port do I put 3074 only ?
-
@dav631 anyway you can send me a screenshot of how your port forwarding is set up? I try to put 3074 on source port and 27014-27050 on dest port but says port ranges should match?
-
@J-Beltran For 3074, you’ll input 3074 on source and destination.
Anything that I linked that has a hyphen that would be source-destination.

@dav631 bro !! You are a life saver !!! Finally !! Thank you so so much man . That was annoying this is great thanks man
-
@J-Beltran No problem, have fun online!

I've tried all these things and unfortunately my NAT Type is still at moderate. Has anyone experienced this?
-
Do you guys enable UPNP in the internet settings of the router? I'm having no luck with that enabled or disabled either.

Just to update you all. An Amplifi tier 3 rep reached out to me and explained that I can only port forward one device to these ports. So I was able to open my NAT for my roommates PC but not mine. The rep said I would have to have two public IP's in order to open my NAT on two devices. Does anyone know if there are any other options?
