Full administration from web browser

It is critical to have a locally hosted web administration tool through a web browser

Yes, It would be extremely advantageous the the owner. I know the point is to get you app on a phone and collect info, but I really get annoyed trying to type network forward info into a small screen. I would recommend this product to others if it wasn't for this PoS feature.

I would also like to add my support for a local admin page.
I would like to see an advanced section where I can fully control the advertised networks, none of this append -2G or -5G nonsense.
I would like to be able to specify the band for the main network name as well. I do not want it broadcasting both in 5g and 2g.
Leave the mobile app for the average user but provide options and configuration tools for advanced users.

u dont need a web administration. You only need a APP for Windows 10 on the Store. Its easier and better for the future.

@ubnt-kevin This request has been asked dozens of times in the forums, how has it not been listed already? I agree with everyone else, this should be priority #1.

@colin-rubbert it's probably being worked on as we speak, I'm going to guess it's in the next beta or full release version, if not then they are probably troubleshooting a bunch of bugs that need to be fixed.

@Colin-Rubbert The feature is being worked on. However, I have no ETA on when it will be released.

Agreed with everyone here, this is unacceptable and the product should have never been shipped without it. It's been 2 years and this thread is silent, no updates, and frankly, no proof that they are making progress.
UI team, let's see some screenshots.
Better yet, make this a supported platform from the Unifi controller.

Ditto, ditto, and ditto. Unfathomable. Guilty here for not doing my due diligence before purchasing.

Add my support of this also, but since this topic is 3 years old and it hasn't been done yet, I can only conclude it's beyond the programmers ability to do it or UI doesn't listen or care about real users.

@Mohannad-Hashem To me, administration of my local network via an external website out on the internet is unacceptable. Why deliberately create this vulnerability in the local network?
2.5 years later, controller.amplifi.com still seems to be in beta.
For my needs, local administration of the network via a web browser session directly to the router is the way to go. An 'app' is little more than a gimmick, and annoyingly requires that I have my phone with me to do so and limits me to a tiny 4" screen.

Maybe it's being stuck inside with poor weather and a quarantine, but I also would like to lend an upvote to a web administration interface. I use Amplifi to create robust wifi networks in consumer locations, but I need the ability to manage remotely. From a phone is less than ideal. Please provide a web interface for full administration.

+1 to Web UI administration

Any progress being made? Can't use this as it is, ready to return it.
UI-JT last edited by
@timboynton No ETA for this request. Administration is currently app based.
