AmpliFi Mesh Wi-Fi System intermittent internal network performance issues

  • Hello there everyone,

I have a AmpliFi Mesh Wi-Fi System (firmware version 3.4.4 rev: 0-g183bcdd5a) setup in my apartment (2961 sqft) and an EdgeRouter X (firmware version v2.0.9-hotfix.1) load balancing two ISP's traffic w/ sticky source/destination stickiness in place.

For most of the time, everything works like champ and I have little to no issues with this setup.

From time to time, though, my local network drops packages like crazy and the only solution for the problem so far is to shut everything down and bring it back up.

The Mesh kit configuration is setup as follows:

    • Wireless Settings:
      • Band Steering: Disabled
      • Router Steering: Disabled
        • 2.4Ghz SSID
          • Channel: 6
          • Bandwidth: 20Mhz
        • 5Ghz SSID
          • Channel: 153
          • Bandwidth: 80Mhz
    • Internet Settings:
      • Network Type: DHCP
      • Hardware NAT: Enabled
      • UPNP: Disabled
      • Clone MAC Address: Disabled
      • VLAN ID: Disabled
      • IPv6: Disabled
      • Bridge Mode: Disabled

Here are the diagrams of what we have connected to each mesh point.

    What am I missing here?
Is there a way to setup my local network to avoid that?

    Fixed formating 😅
