3 of 4 Ethernet ports on HD stopped working.

  • I've seen others from 2020 posts mention this issue, but I've yet to see a fix.
2 days ago 3 of the 4 ethernet ports on my Amplifi HD main router stopped working.
I also have a second Amplifi HD acting as a mesh point with a wired backhaul.
The unit is just 3 months beyond warranty.

  • I tried this suggestion I saw in another thread from @UI-Brett, only Port 1 shows green. 2-4 all show red using this Wan to Lan patch method.

Since I am out of warranty should I assume there is no fix option for me?

@kent-husvik You could be facing a hardware failure, but to be certain can you please perform this test.

Disconnect your AmpliFi from the modem, and connect an ethernet cable from the WAN port to LAN 1 on your AmpliFi.
launch the AmpliFi app and select the diagnostic tab.
If you see a green check mark on the WAN test, then the LAN port is functioning hardware wise.
Repeat this test for each LAN port
Please let me know the results of this test.

I had the same thing happen to one of my clients. No solution. I just installed another one, RMA'd the other and they sent me a new unit. A bit of a pain but so it goes. Not sure what caused the issue....possibly a brownout but not sure. It was plugged into a UPS.
