How to connect automatic to additional meshpoint?

hi, i have 2 extra meshpoints installed, but the app gives no devices are connected to meshpoints. I am sitting next to a meshpoint, an my laptop is still connected with the main router. wifi signal is very weak. How can I let my mesh network pick the right meshpoint?

@Gaby-Scheltinga Hello. It is the WiFi client that decides to which node (mesh point or router) to connect. Please reach out to our support team and attach a support file while you are in this state for more detailed investigation.

@Gaby-Scheltinga I can never understand for the life of me as to why AmpliFi cannot allow the user to bind a WiFi client to a specific mesh node when this is a feature implemented easily by adapting the firmware like in what other manufacturers do. Completely inexplicable.
