@Daniel-Osers you can roll back the firmware in the webui on a HD unit
-
@dexx64 ACK + thanks
I acknowledge am not looking to roll back, but rather keep an inventory of firmware (as we do for HD and Alien) for potential manual back and forth
-
@UI-AmpliFi Please post a 'previous firmware' page for the HD line, as you already have for the Alien line.
-
@UI-AmpliFi
Experiencing problems of latency while playing COD on my PS5 and my ring doorbells now I cannot live view them from outside my house.
-
@dexx64
Can you tell me more about how this update helped with WiFi calling? on Android Phones? Iphones? VOIP services? I have clients that rely on this.
-
@UI-AmpliFi updating has taken 25min so far without finishing...
Do I dare to power cycle it?
-
@Magnus-Appelgren-0 If after more than 10 minutes update has not finished you can unplug the power and power up your router again.
If you encounter any addiitonal issues please reach out to us at help@amplifi.com
Thank you!
-
@UI-AmpliFi thx! Did that but after 30 minutes. All good now.
-
@UI-AmpliFi Why can't we still not disable either radio or control power levels? This 2022.
Even the beta firmware has the menus and they don't do anything.
-
Installed update this morning, no issues. Still wishing for more verbose notes on new versions of firmware, and an archive of downloadable previous versions.
-
@UI-AmpliFi
After more than 10 days waiting time, still no update.
Why these insane slow rollouts?
-
@Rudder57 Thank you for your patience. We use staged rollout for all of our official firmware releases to closely follow our client feedback and make changes if needed.
If you wish to be the first who receive new firmwares please sign up for early access (beta) firmware program.

After installing the update, router lost connection to ISP. This is running a fiber connection with PPPoE on a specific vlan tag. We also had to set MTU to 1492 I believe at one time and enable hardware NAT. It appears this update touched one of those settings, rollback also fails along with a factory reset. We cannot enable hardware NAT or find an MTU setting in the phone app.
Any suggestions?
-
@IanMc
I don't think you can set MTU, hardware NAT settings are accessible through the Web UI of the router. So you need to go to that IP address e.g. http://192.168.0.1 and login there.

Hi, I recently connected a fiber optic with a 300/100 channel. Authorization takes place via PPPoE. I connected with my Apple AirPort Extreme router, and was terrified! The speed over the wire turned out to be 280/100, and over wi-fi 170/100 When I connect with the same router to another provider that uses DHCP, on the 600/600 channel I get both over the wire and over WI-FI, too, 600/600
Now I want to buy myself an Amplify HD Router. Tell me, does anyone have a connection via PPPoE? How much can Amplify HD output over cable and Wi-Fi when connected via PPPoE?
-
@Jackbut on wire you will get somewhere around 780 Mbit/s download/upload.
On wifi you will get somewhere around 500 Mbit/s download and 270 Mbit/s upload.

@Popescu-Sorin is it through pppoe? Have you checked? Or is it theoretical speed?
