Anyone using this with BT Infinity in the UK?
-
Hi,
I wondered if there was anyone using this in the UK with BT Infinity?
I am struggling to keep it connected.
-
Yes it works fine with my Openreach HG612 modem. Don’t switch IPv6 on.

@peter-farrar Interesting...
I have a HG612 also.
This is what i have done from start of setup.
Connect, chose SSID and password, then i get internet error can't connect.
I select PPPoE and input...
U: bthomehub@btbroadband.com
P:BT...and leave everything else blank.
The first time it worked for 5 minutes and then lost connection, i could not get it to reconnect so in the end i did a factory reset.
The second time it worked for about half hour then lost connection.
Its rock solid on my old Netgear R7000.
What settings did you use?
p.s firmware straight away out of box without faulting so i have no reference point before 2.6.2.

Yes that’s all you need, works fine for me with no disconnects. I’ve had mine for some time now. It wouldn’t work with IPv6 enabled when I tried it a while back.

i just swapped the cables over bypassing the other netgear router and switched back to pppoe. the i restarted the hg612 and then restarted the amplifi just after. all booted back up and i had internet.
lasted about 3 minutes and dropped off. then i go to diagnose it just says Internet connection X Please verify IPv4 configuration.
Is there a way to generate something like a crash log so we can see what happened?

Just a thought, try disabling the BT web filtering on your account if it’s enabled.

Thanks for the suggestion.
I found 'BT Web protect' in settings but it was already turned off.
I spoke to support last night and ended up emailing over a log, hopefully it will reveal something.

Yes I'm not sure what it could be as I know other people using AmpliFi with the HG612 on BT infinity and it's working ok for them too.
