DNS server problems

  • Hi, great to have a forum for discussion! I have my Amplifi router connected to a ZTE hub with Telus as service provider. Since I have the Amplifi connected, I have issues with "Back to my Mac". I get an error message that states the DNS server is not responding. I have tried both Google's DNS address and the DNS address of the ZTE hub, but the problem persists. I also noted that my Macbook/iMac becomes unresponsive after awaking from sleep and it gets solved by reconnecting to the wifi. I guess this also has something to do with DNS? I previously used a Synology router and did not experience these issues with the same setup. Any advice would be appreciated please.
